Well, it was only a few months ago that we last saw an M4 variant from Marui, and now they've made another one, though this one looks set to be a lot different. It appears that they are going for imitation recoil like seen with their recently introduced AK74 series, and again it is clear they have spent some time designing another gearbox version for this release, as well as choosing to make more use of metal for the construction which is better for all of us.



 
As far as can be seen, it looks like Marui have also decided to change the magazines for this much like they did with the newer AKs, likely ruling out compatibility with all other common STANAG mags.


A new type of battery, not yet clear whether these are large cells or high capacity mini cells, but this type of battery has been common among many other manufacturers for some time now.


And the new gearbox, which we could probably call version 10.
